I'd had one 45-minute window last Monday before my partner got home from work. I was amazed that I got all their gifts wrapped in that timeframe. And that I didn't kill the kitten, who only wanted to shred the wrapping paper. =)
I am, too. I am trying to move away from absolutes - was I very tired? Yes. Did I still find pockets of happiness? Yes. Will I ever feel total comfort and joy? Probably not. That doesn’t mean the season isn’t still enjoyable, though. 🙂

Maybe. I love the Christmas season, but since my work requires 110% in quarter 4, I always feel like I'm too tired to truly appreciate the season.
