I’m a Monday/Thursday shopping gal. I buy enough food Thursday to last us through the weekend and to have enough food for breakfast/lunch on Monday before the haul again.

Thursday is so key. At that point you kind of know whether you’ll have dinner plans Friday/Saturday or Sunday so you can meal plan accordingly.

Great advice. Also the Saturday morning grocery store rush is no fun.

Love the idea of Monday shopping, too. Might need to try it out :)

It’s not ideal because it’s typically busy and they’re still restocking from the weekend BUT it’s just when we run out of fresh food. But it doesn’t even feel ideal going to the grocery store these days haha

Not a mom yet but I love this! My grocery box comes on Mondays and I pick it on Fridays.

I also do laundry on Wednesdays or Fridays - made weekends much more enjoyable than being stuck at home due to turning over a load!

Yes! Moving as much as possible out of the weekends has created actual free time which sooo life-giving!

Yes! Love a routine here too. We also do our food shop online and saves so much time. Here in the UK we can also have it delivered to the house which saves some more time πŸ₯³

I keep trying to get my husband on board with the delivery part and he won’t budge… yet. πŸ˜„

That's such a fun age (and also a handful)! I just could not spend time fighting through a grocery store... maybe when mine are older!
