I did some similar about page revisions and hero post updates this week. I suppose it is all about clarifying our message right now. and I agree -- sometimes your only find that in time through writing!
I had been putting it off for a while, but I felt like the general fogginess around my purpose was showing up in my writing. I could tell I hadn't quite said what I wanted to, and to have it locked back into place feels great!
Enjoyed reading this article and your thoughts about Thursday, Courtney!
To expand a bit on what makes Thursday so great, here's what comes up for me: In many languages (Latin, Spanish, French...), Thursday is named after the Roman god Jupiter. (In German and English, it's named after Thor who the Romans saw as the Germanic equivalent to Jupiter).
Well, Jupiter is associated with goodness, optimism and expansion!
"Starting this Substack and showing up every week has been a gentle reminder that I can prioritize myself, even in a season of life when I need to give so much of myself away."
